The Opportunity

Saucony wanted a hero activation for the 2026 marathon season, with Paris and London as the focus cities. The work needed to cut through in an increasingly crowded race-week landscape, while keeping the Endorphin collection – Saucony’s pinnacle performance line – at the centre.

The brief: develop a campaign spanning brand identity, campaign assets, bespoke event spaces, OOH and social strategy. Messaging needed to feel ownable by Saucony Endorphin, and also ladder up to its existing Make Fast Feel Easy platform.

Our Response

Tangent devised, produced and rolled out Saucony RUSH, a campaign built around an Endorphin-themed delivery service, operating in Paris and London during marathon season. The idea drew on the world of depots, dispatches and couriers, reframing endorphins as a runner’s fastest messengers – delivering joy, relief and energy. We developed an elevated yet playful visual world for RUSH, rooted in courier culture and logistics aesthetics. Barcodes, arrows, boxes, tape, stickers, shipping crates, delivery labels and time-stamp graphics brought the identity to life. Following a series of teaser videos, the activation began in earnest with pop-ups in Paris and London. Both named The Depot, these RUSH-branded spaces immersed attendees in the Endorphin collection.

The Depot reimagined delivery functions as runner experiences, including shoe try-on and gait analysis (Fitting Bay); race-day essentials pick-ups (Dispatch Bay); Endorphin product education (Returns Desk); merch customisation (Stamping Station); exclusive tee and gift collection (Sorting Office); and a recovery lounge (Break Room). Local run clubs took on running challenges shaped by the delivery-service concept, carrying the RUSH identity out into the city streets. In London, the Saucony store was also transformed ahead of marathon week, with a delivery-service façade, pallets, boxes and chevrons bringing the RUSH world into retail. In-store lockers acted as an invite mechanic, with QR codes unlocking activation invites, merch and prizes. A partnership with Rinse FM soundtracked the London launch party, building buzz around the campaign’s marathon-week presence.
